EXIAR insures exports of Russian car tires

The Russian Agency for Export Credit and Investment Insurance (EXIAR – a part of the Russian Export Center Group) and Trading House KAMA LLC have concluded a one-year insurance policy for short-term credit.

As part of the agreement, shipments of automobile tires made at the petrochemical complex of JSC Tatneft to Belarus will be insured.

EXIAR is insuring a total of RUB 391 million worth of exports through this deal.

The Russian Agency for Export Credit and Investment Insurance (EXIAR) was established in 2011. EXIAR's mission is to support Russian hi-tech exports and investments abroad by insuring export credits against commercial and political risks. The Russian Export Center is EXIAR’s sole shareholder. The agency's charter capital is RUB 43.5 billion. The State Specialized Russian Export-Import Bank (Eximbank of Russia) is a subsidiary of EXIAR.

Trading House KAMA LLC is the general distributor of tires made at the petrochemical complex of JSC Tatneft. The organization’s main goal is to distribute KAMA, KAMA EURO and VIATTI brand tires in addition to making them easily available. The company deals in wholesale tire production, manufacturing more than 14 million tires a year worth over RUB 40 billion. Trading House KAMA also conducts its own full-scale marketing: it manufactures tires based on market research; handles distribution from manufacturer to customer; and, advertises KAMA, KAMA EURO and VIATTI brand tires.
