EXIAR insures shipments of aviation parts to India
The Russian Agency for Export Credit and Investment Insurance (EXIAR) has insured exports of AN-32 aircraft parts to India.
The insurance contract, signed between EXIAR and AVIAHELP EXPORT, involved the Agency covering the exporter against potential losses that may occur as a result of the buyer failing to fulfil its obligations to pay for shipments. The value of the export contract is approximately USD 1 million.
EXIAR and AVIAHELP EXPORT have been successfully building ties since 2013. Over that time, the Agency has insured exports to China, Peru and India. Within one year alone, five insurance contracts were signed for exports worth over USD 8 million.
Export Insurance Agency of Russia (EXIAR) was established in 2011 as an open joint-stock company. EXIAR's mission is to support Russian high-tech exports by insuring export credits against commercial and political risks, as well as Russian investments abroad against political risks. EXIAR holds a charter capital of RUB 30 billion. Eximbank of Russia is a subsidiary of EXIAR.
AVIAHELP GROUP specialises in supplying airlines, aviation companies and repair works with parts and maintenance organisation services. The group is one of Russia's leading private suppliers of aviation parts for Russian- and foreign-manufactured aircraft.
