EXIAR participates in ‘Financial Support Tools for Exports by the Customs Union and Neighbouring Countries’ round table
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation hosted a round table conference focusing on financial and insurance support for exports from the Customs Union and Russia’s neighbouring countries.
Attendees at the event included Georgy Petrov, Vice-President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Boris Kirillov, Executive Director of the Russia–Belarus Business Council and Vice-President of Novikombank; Elena Shirinskaya, Deputy CEO of Novikombank; Nadezhda Lesovaya, Director of Customer Relations at EXIAR; Torsten Erdmann, Head of Commerzbank's representative office in Russia; Dmitry Prozorov, Head of SACE's Moscow Office; Dmitry Krasilnikov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board at the Eurasian Development Bank; and Alexander Bondar, Managing Partner of Belarus-based law firm Sysuyev, Bondar and Khraputsky.
Also at the event were members of the Russia–Belarus Business Council, Novikombank’s export and trade financing partners, and more than 100 representatives of Russian businesses and CIS banks, including seven Belarusian banks and financial institutions from Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Latvia.
During the event, Nadezhda Lesovaya hosted a workshop with a detailed presentation of EXIAR’s insurance products that support export financing.
The Russian Agency for Export Credit and Investment Insurance (EXIAR) was established in 2011 as an open joint-stock company. EXIAR’s mission is to support Russian high-tech exports by insuring export credits against commercial and political risks, as well as Russian investments abroad against political risks.Vnesheconombank is the sole shareholder of EXIAR. The agency's charter capital is RUB 30 billion.
