EXIAR to contribute to development of foreign trade in Perm Territory
The Russian Agency for Export Credit and Investment Insurance (EXIAR) is to help facilitate the development of foreign trade in Perm Territory. The corresponding cooperation agreement was signed by EXIAR CEO Peter Fradkov and Governor of Perm Territory Viktor Basargin.
The document outlines the establishment of a long-term partnership to create a climate conducive to increasing exports by businesses based in the region, including through joint projects.
The parties have also agreed to develop cooperation in terms of working with local export support institutions, SMEs, and financial and credit organisations, and to implement projects aimed at supporting exports in the region.
Export Insurance Agency of Russia (EXIAR) was established in 2011 as an open joint-stock company. EXIAR's mission is to support Russian high-tech exports by insuring export credits against commercial and political risks, as well as Russian investments abroad against political risks. EXIAR holds a charter capital of RUB 30 billion. Eximbank of Russia is a subsidiary of EXIAR.
