EXIAR together with TransKapitalBank supported the exports of high-tech products to Spain

The Russian Agency for Export Credit and Investment Insurance (EXIAR – a part of the Russian Export Center Group), provided insurance coverage to TransKapitalBank in the financing of high-tech exports to Spain. Pre-export financing received company IntelMet Technologies, specializing in the elaboration and implementation of innovation technologies in the steel industry. Commercial risks in this deal were covered within the product "Loan insurance to finance working capital of the exporter SMEs" in an accelerated program.

TransKapitalBank has consistently increased funding with support from EXIAR – from the start a special Program in 2015, there were implemented 20 projects for funding export to various countries, including Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Nicaragua, Singapore, England.

The Russian Agency for Export Credit and Investment Insurance (EXIAR) was established in 2011. EXIAR's mission is to support Russian hi-tech exports and investments abroad by insuring export credits against commercial and political risks. The Russian Export Center is EXIAR’s sole shareholder. The agency's charter capital is RUB 43.5 billion. The State Specialized Russian Export-Import Bank (Eximbank of Russia) is a subsidiary of EXIAR.

TransKapitalBank is a universal commercial bank of federal value that offers a wide range of banking services to legal entities and individuals in 20 regions around Russia. Transkapitalbank is one of the 40 largest banks in Russia in terms of assets and shareholders' equity. The bank currently possesses over RUB 210 billion worth of assets and more than RUB 27 billion in equity. The program offers a comprehensive approach to creating a line of products that includes checking, treasury operations, trade finance instruments, and the ability to organize syndicated loans. Financing for Russian exports, with insurance coverage provided by EXIAR, is one of the bank’s most popular products.
